In earlier articles about April Jones, a five year old who went missing in Wales, the media reported contradictory evidence. A witness saw a light coloured vehicle. A child said April climbed into the passenger side of a light coloured van.
A man arrested drives a 4 X 4 dark coloured vehicle. It might well have been a struggle for a little 5 year old to climb in by herself into the passenger side. There is a big difference between a dark and light coloured vehicle too.
Being someone who used to travel the length and breadth of UK, in a matter of a few hours, April, if alive could be anywhere in UK or overseas now. When this report came out initially, my thoughts were why the Prince's and other members of the British royal household, the British establishment, lawyers and police did not pick up on the contradtions.
April went missing on October 1 from outside her home in Machynlleth, mid Wales.
Lifeguard Mark Bridger, 47, was later arrested and charged with abducting and murdering the little girl. The media report have shown that there is no physical body as proof of April being murdered. This is brought to international attention.
With Prince William and Kate suing the French magazine for printing photographs of his wife, it is certainly appropriate to say that there is the technology with satellite cameras to track people and also spy on people even in their own homes now. If evidence has been shown to prove that Mark Bridger had murdered young April, this would surely be known by authorities.
Bridger, who is now also accused of perverting the course of justice and due to stand trial next week. The media have not been clear about any other evidence. With police and lawyers speaking of many innocent people in prison here, they also say there is no room for care or conscience when they were told that they should work to get these people released.
Fortunately not everyone has the couldn't care less attitude who are oath takers.
April's disappearance sparked what is reportedly the largest police search in UK history. During seven months, 'specialist forces from the UK have covered the 'extremely challenging' terrain of the Welsh countryside surrounding her home town, scouring mountains, gorges, streams and waterfalls. They have battled through awful weather during this year's treacherous winter.'
The search was focused locally. Days later 'people forgot about this little girl and the danger of young children wandering off. Not all parents are listening to the warnings to protect their children and be cautious to their whereabouts. Thousands of children go missing every year. How many parents are in anguish hoping one day their child will be found and return home?'
For young April, the search has been called off, with more than 23 square miles and 300 separate locations have been covered, Dyfed-Powys Police had pledged to keep searching for April until 'all viable lines of inquiry were complete'.
A spokesman said: 'Since the beginning of October, specialist officers from Dyfed-Powys Police, along with other forces from across the UK, have been searching the area in and around Machynlleth for five-year-old April Jone'
A reactive team of specialist officers are available to respond to any new information that is received' Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman
'On Friday, April's parents were given the heartbreaking news that they may never get to say goodbye to their daughter.' - I cannot imagine the emotional turmoil this family have gone through in this time.
In the last report, 10 weeks after the disappearance of April, the charge of Perverting the course of Justice is identified with hiding the body of the child. The accuracy of any report is important for getting to the truth.
'Perverting the course of justice, in Canadian, English, Hong Kong, and Irish law, is a criminal offence in which someone prevents justice from being served on himself or on another party. It is a common law offence carrying a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
Perverting the course of justice can be any of three acts:
Fabricating or disposing of evidence
Intimidating or threatening a witness or juror
Intimidating or threatening a judge
Also criminal are:
conspiring with another to pervert the course of justice, and
intending to pervert the course of justice.'
There is a far bigger picture involved in this situation that impacts so many people. There are parents with teenagers who fret if they do not know where there child is exactly and who they are with. There are children who sigh at over protective parents, when actually we are living in a time when every child should feel protected by their parents.
My heart goes out to April's family and all the people who have been involved in the search for finding the little girl. My heart, thoughts and prayers also go out to all the people who have missing children. Share your truth with the world and warn other parents to protect their children. We do not live in a safe world.
Peace, love and best wishes
