Snow Queen Elizabeth Forced to Change Church

An article caught my attention earlier....The headline reads:

The Snow Queen! Her Majesty pays a nod to the icy British weather in a chic all-cream ensemble, complete with Cossack hat, during her Sunday church visit

  • Queen forced to cancel a visit to Mary the Virgin church in Hillington
  • Officials closed the building because of falling plaster from the ceiling
  • She attended St. Mary Magdalene near her Sandringham home instead

Her Majesty conjured up images of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Snow Queen in her chic cream ensemble, complete with large fur hat and matching cuffs as she arrived at St. Mary Magdalene church for the Sunday Service this morning

I really hope photographers do  not mind my sharing here, with one  article out of many are published  in the Daily Mail - the opportunity that she is seen here gives additional credits and viewing..

A queen wrapped up with her blanket - has made this fashionable, I have one too :) The slanket trend has been growing because we are many who struggle to pay ever increasing heating bills too.

Cossaks are Russian and UKranian people. Prince Phillip traces his ancestry to the Russian Imperial family..  Dieu et mon droit (meaning God and my right) is the motto of the British Monarch in England.

The Queen was forced to cancel a visit to Mary the Virgin church in Hillington, Norfolk, because of falling plaster from the ceiling. So instead, she attended St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate

Quote 'The Queen was forced to cancel a visit to Mary the Virgin church in Hillington, Norfolk, because of falling plaster from the ceiling. So instead, she attended St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate

It is written in the Daily Mail to quote in context

A last minute change of plans had forced the Queen to change her Sunday worship routine due to a health and safety hazard at the church she was scheduled to attend today, but she still saw the day through in perfect regal style.
The royal was supposed to visit St Mary the Virgin church at Hillington, slightly further away on the Sandringham estate, but the service was cancelled after a lump of plaster fell off the ceiling on New Year's Eve.
Church officials decided it was too dangerous to admit members of the public because of the risk of more plaster falling and injuring someone.
So, instead of journeying three miles to Hillington, the Queen, 88, was chauffeured in a Bentley to St. Mary Magdalene church instead, which is around 400 yards from Sandringham House, for the Sunday morning service.

The pair seem to have cracked a joke, as they pass each other in high spirits

Other pictures include, one of Prince Philip in brown, passing a Saluting Police officer laughing while on duty. The cation reads 'The pair seem to have cracked a joke, as they pass each other in high spirits '

Of the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin it is written:

Hillington church warden Edward Dawnay, 64, admitted that locals had been disappointed not to be hosting the Queen at their church this weekend.
He said: 'We had a bit of plaster fall on the pulpit on New Year's Eve. It was not really a big deal - it was really just a dustpan and brush job to clear up.
'But it was decided that we could not hold our service on the first Sunday of the month or the one this Sunday, in case something else happened.
'The plaster certainly did not fall in the area where the Queen normally sits, but it was agreed that we should not take any risks.
'It is a shame for Hillington because people were looking forward to the Queen visiting. We hope she will be able to come next year instead.'

The Queen and Prince Philip worship most Sundays at St Mary Magdalene church during their festive break as well as on Christmas Day when they are joined by other members of the Royal family.
But on the third Sunday in January, the 11am service which they attend is traditionally moved to one of four other churches in the area.
The honour is usually given to a different church every year and on Sunday it was due to be Hillington.
A notice explaining the cancellation of the service and expressing 'great disappointment' was posted on the church door.

The Self-Ruled Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese in America website writes

For, "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? -Orthodox Study Bible Romans 10:13-14

'On the third Sunday of January designated each year as Share the Light Sunday, we remind you that it is in your power to make a larger change that can affect more people and more families than you can meet in a lifetime.'

It is through children and listening to other people sharing their experience, that I came to realise that perhaps the House of God through Saint Mary the Virgin is showing warnings. In 1917 Portugal with the appearance of the Virgin Mary to three children, Francisco, Maria Lucia and Jacinta, warnings were given. The preservation of the Church in faith is of weighty and serious responsibility.

The Queen would be an instinctive person and if she is guided in truth by the Lord, she will be warned to what is necessary to know too. She will hear the voice of the Lord very clearly too.

With the secrets of Fatima coming to mind, perhaps the Queen will be aware of these, especially with, as written on a website, she is from the House of Wettin connected to the Crown of Portugal.

Of the apparitions and secrets it is written:

'Fatima is undoubtedly the most prophetic of modern apparitions. The first and second parts of the “secret”—which are here published in sequence so as to complete the documentation—refer especially to the frightening vision of hell, devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Second World War, and finally the prediction of the immense damage that Russia would do to humanity by abandoning the Christian faith and embracing Communist totalitarianism'. (Read more on the link below)

It is written in the Holy Scriptures a warning.

1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessnessa is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

Perhaps the plaster falling from the ceiling is a sign! A reminder to look towards the heavens and know  whatever is happening even within a church is known at the throne in heaven. As angels are depicted, we all have a guardian angel that reports back to heaven..Nothing is secret any more.

Faith is personal experience - religion is teaching.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; Psalm 1:1

Does the Queen set an example to pray once a week in church, or is she influencing with her focus on the Lord and praying in private behind closed doors too.?. The Lord knows.

Perhaps the Queen attending church reminds people.

"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6"But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 7"And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.…Matthew 6:5-7

We cannot judge or know anyone's personal experience. But what I was told many years ago that we are tested and many are selected, few are chosen. What I understand is a great lack in our world of compassion and care and when pain and suffering is inflicted with hardship to cause distraction from the spiritual calling of loving hearts in our world who are fulfilling a need, something is very wrong.

In the name of Queen Elizabeth  I have suffered and cried tears. Her officials have not considered the responsibility on her shoulders or the price she pays in her soul for all the evil they do. We can pray for the leaders and officials and yet if they are set on injuring people for gain what can we do?

The Queen returns to Saint Mary of Magdalene Church.
