The torch made its way past the restored Cutty Sark ship in Greenwich today as it begins its final journey to the Olympic Stadium

Jaco van Gass, who lost his arm while serving in Afghanistan in 2009, held the flame as it made its way through Woolwich.

The torch relay has entered its 64th day as it begins its final approach to the Olympic stadium On day 70 The Olympic Flame will make it's way from Hampton Court Palace to the Olympic Park where it will light the cauldron at the opening ceremony.

The London 2012 Olympic torch relay began on 19 May 2012 at Land's End and ends 70 days later on 27 July at the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium. In this time a carefully planned journey has mapped out 1000 places for the Olympic Flame to shine it's light for the people.

"It is not uncommon for the Olympic flame to be accidentally or deliberately extinguished during the course of the relay, and on at least one occasion the cauldron itself has gone out during the Games. To guard against this eventuality, multiple copies of the flame are transported with the relay or maintained in backup locations. When a torch goes out, it is re-lit (or another torch is lit) from one of the backup sources. Thus, the fires contained in the torches and Olympic cauldrons all trace a common lineage back to the same Olympia lighting ceremony.

One of the more memorable extinguishings occurred at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada. After a rainstorm doused the Olympic flame a few days after the games had opened, an official re-lit the flame using his cigarette lighter. Organizers quickly doused it again and relit it using a backup of the original flame."

The Olympic Flame is considered to be a Sacred Flame that is preserved with the lighting ritual by a Greek High Priestess and maintained traditionally from thousands of years ago even today. The Olympic Flame is uniting the world in harmony and peace.

Nothing is by accident and some time back there were fires in cornwall that caught my attention where a Hotel was completely burned. This area connects with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Prine Phillip and Camilla. A planned handing over ceremony on the Tamar Bridge was cancelled in favour of the torch being driven over the border in the security van.

Martin Gee, the Mayor of Saltash, said "It seems sad that it is not being made a really, really big event - this is the end of Cornwall and we should be celebrating the torch going off to England." The crossing was made by a runner instead.

In the divine plan changes to man's plan happen for a reason.

Peace, love and best wishes
