Former PM Margaret Thatcher 87 dies

Former prime minister Baroness Thatcher has died peacefully at the age of 87 after a massive stroke. Margaret Thatcher, gained the name and reputation of The Iron Lady was Britain's first and only Prime Minister.

Baroness Thatcher had suffered with poor health over the past decade.

The former Tory politician is to have a state funeral with military honours at St Paul's Cathedral - not since Winston Churchill.

Her spokesman Lord Bell said: 'It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning'.

The Queen was sad to hear of Baroness Thatcher's death and Her Majesty will send a private message of sympathy to the family, Buckingham Palace said today.

Prime Minister David Cameron said: 'It was with great sadness that l learned of Lady Thatcher’s death. We've lost a great leader, a great Prime Minister and a great Briton.

'As our first woman prime minister, Margaret Thatcher succeeded against all the odds, and the real thing about Margaret Thatcher is that she didn't just lead our country, she saved our country, and I believe she'll go down as the greatest British peacetime prime minister.

'Her legacy will be the fact she served her country so well, she saved our country and that she showed immense courage in doing so.

'And people will be learning about what she did and her achievements in decades, probably centuries to come. That's her legacy but today we must also think of her family.'

He will return early from his visit to Europe this afternoon following the death of Baroness Thatcher, Downing Street said.'

Mrs Thatcher was staying at the Ritz hotel for several months until her death.

Described as iconic - Margaret Thatcher had a voice that was listened to and respected within the walls of government. Margaret Thatcher is a prime example of a woman who used her voice 'in a man's world' to influence change.

Even though her policies were not agreeable with everyone 'this is the price' people pay for having 'other people' make decisions - lives are always lost in wars and that, to me, is not something that can be justified.

Denis Thatcher, was already a millionaire when he met Margaret Roberts a chemist and newly-selected parliamentary candidate. Margaret was to become Denis's second wife. Supporting Margaret's career he financed her training as a barrister.

They had twin children, Carol and Mark, who were born on 15 August 1953, 6 weeks premature.

Both Denis Thatcher and Margaret held titles. Sir Denis Thatcher was created 1st Baronet, of Scotney in the County of Kent - the last of the hereditory titles, that was inherited by their son Mark upon Denis's death.

Margaret Thatcher was created a life peeress as Baroness Thatcher in 1992 after her retirement from the House of Commons.

Denis Thatcher died on 26 June 2003 at Westminster's Lister Hospital in London. Denis and Margaret Thatcher had been married for almost 52 years.

Many years ago I was invited to join company at Margaret Thatcher's home and declined the invitation, being too tired. Another family friend knew her personally and as the lady was not known personally, the only comment I can make is by observation of her in action, in the House of Commons and also her policies, that were the decisions made at the time.

Obviously respected by the Queen and took on board advice given in their meetings.

All the bashing of Europe, there are fundamental laws that relate to Human Rights and protect children's inheritance. Also I am reliably informed that in Switzerland there are lawyers who got greedy serving jail sentances. The law for profit mentality in England would be threatened by this with lawyers lying to be paid - People are influenced by propaganda.

The government is on the shoulders of the Queen - the Prime Minister is the Queen's servant.

Democracy means Power to the People. Do people really have the power here? NO!

In this video shared about the gap between the most wealthy and poor. Years later we are now in a time of the Apocalypse meaning lifting of the veil. Looking at the labels of clothes, electronic goods and toys; many consumer goods are manufactured overseas in countries where labour is cheaper - ie £1 a day seems evidently more preferable than paying people in Britain.

Margaret Thatcher promoted the opportunity for people to start their own businesses and buy their own homes. The buying of council houses was likely with being in mind that people could own their home and upon the death, they could pass this to the family, instead of paying rent with nothing to show at the end of it. There were conditions placed on sales.

Greed has taken over instead of encouraging an empire building mindset in society. Industry has dried up and laws made that go to the detriment of the employer of a small business. These are signs of the times and lessons not learned.

Margaret Thatcher leaves her legacy and gives everyone the opportunity to consider that there are consquences for decisions made in an official capacity as there are for laws that are made, that go against the people's best interst.

Margaret Thatcher papers over Falklands published.

From a film about Margaret Thatcher rejecting American Appeasement Offer over The Falklands. This identifies a decision made resulted in 45 million people being killed. Since 2003 wars have been based on lies by British Politicians.

Political can relate to Policy. Polity is a state or one of its subordinate civil authorities, ie a province, prefecture, county, municipality, city, or district. Poltician relates to the government or public affairs of a country.

Few people examine the character of an individual who they allow to make decisions on their behalf. This is done by the voting process. Personally I choose not to vote. Instructing MP's to address matters they fail to do so. If a government is reluctant to take on board and address necessary matters, then they fail the people as we have seen in UK these years.

Margaret was vocal - the truth she held inside, goes to the grave with her. At 87, a ripe old age to die after a long life, Margaret made her mark on the world. When our voices are being silenced, be reminded that Margaret made her voice known and heard.

Peace, love and best wishes
