Orange Car Overturns Bricklayers Arms, Kingston

A freak overturning of a vehicle has been reported with photographs. An orange car overturned close to The Bricklayers Arms pub in Hawks Road, Kingston in Surrey.

Fortunately the lady who emerged from the vehicle alive.

Her orange hatchback flipped over on Sunday afternoon.

The Bricklayer Arms pub landlady, Zoe Day called emergency services after hearing the crash. The driver was helped by paramedics and fire crews and then taken to Kingston Hospital.

The landlady said: 'It was a perfectly quiet day and I was working behind the bar when I heard a massive bag. (not sure if meant to be bang)

'I went outside and saw the car lying on its roof. The woman was in the car and sitting upside down, bless her.

'I called the emergency services who were there very quickly and helped her out. She didn't say anything and was absolutely fine. I think she was just passing through town, because I'd never seen her before.

'I have no idea how it happened, but there was a car parked in the road with a bump in it, so maybe that's how her car overturned. She is very, very lucky.'

Tim Woolf, 53, of Somerset Avenue, who took the pictures, said: 'I was on my way home and when I got there the police blocked off the road.

'No one seemed to know how it happened.'

Locals heard a massive bang Sunday afternoon on Hawks Road, Kingston.

The driver is not named of the orange vehicle. With our emergency services, we are reminded of the work they do in helping people in their most vulnerable times and saving lives.

The colour orange car is described as burnt orange.

Kingstown means Kings Town.

Zoe means Life. Life Day is the landlady's name.

Bricklayers Arms - Builders arms. The builder in the Kingdom belonging to Christ wears the Crown of Life. The colour of the sign shown is Green. Is this imperial green?

Hawk is a bird of prey. Hawks eyes watch.

The bang - unexplained. Could be an explosion - another warning. The building and landlady are meant to be. The building, road and naming of Kingston has been around long before this incident happened. The car overturning is typical of am unexplained 'freak car' crash.

The car would make a big bang if dropped upside down.

Kingston is in Surrey where I was born. Just yesterday I was learning more about the Magna Carta and Runnymeade in Surrey, where there is a memorial to J.F. Kennedy.

This 'freak' car accident could have resulted in very serious injuries. The unnamed lady driver is lucky to be alive and walk free from the wreckage. Cars can be replaced, lives lost cannot.

Before closing, on the back of the jacket of an attending officer is written E43. European route E43 is a road in central Europe travelling from South end: Bellinzona (Switzerland to North end: Würzburg (Germany)

HMS E43 is a United Kingdom E-class submarine built by Swan Hunter, Wallsend commissioned in 1915. It was sold on 3 January 1921 but became stranded under tow west of St Agnes Head, Cornwall on 25 November 1921. Strange how things happen....everything happens for a reason.

Peace, love and best wishes
