Nature Killer War Georgia Alabama & South Carolina

Photographs can be found in original article shared below.

On Christmas Eve, talking with a friend, I recollected a dream about a house that was with land being invaded by some plant life - Japanese knotweed came to mind that is causing the value of property to plummet. Today in the news there is another article to take notice of...

Nature has a way of claiming back the land and yet, in this article, photographs show a climbing plant that is seemingly suffocating the life that is already established. Historically, it is not known to what might be the cause - ie when people rule over lands and people by deception - the floods, earthquakes and landslides make sense...reminding people that there is a far higher authority ruling over all equally.

  • Quoting the headlines written in the Daily Mail

  • Pueraria lobate (also known as kudzu),the world's most aggressive and invasive plant species

  • Swedish photographer Helene Schmitz spent the summer of 2012 traveling through the south with her assistant Felix Bridell to capture the plant

  • Schmitz was interested in the idea that a plant could be 'invasive' which is usually a term used to described an act of war'

  • Just reading the comments it is written

  • This is NOT news. I grew up in the Southern US. They brought it over from Japan during the depression in the 1930s. As erosion control. But they forgot to bring the natural pests that eat it. (Jim B)

  • The more it grows the more C02 it will absorb from the atmosphere for its own photosynthasis, which will cool the planet until we are in another ice age! Horticulturists demand more grant money to study its effects before it is too late. Grant money, do you hear me, more and more grant money to horticulture. (B Obama - this is the published username)

To read about this coming from Japan, no coincidence.

  • Quoting what is written in the translated Scriptures

  • “But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:7-10

  • Thus says the Lord God: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain. On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. And under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest. And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.” Ezekiel 17:22-24

    Peace be with you
