Numbers 9 (27th April) Moses Passover Cloud Fire

In quiet contemplation today 'Numbers 9' came to mind. 

This scripture identifies 'hearing and obeying the LORD' = Moses was hearing the voice of the LORD, yet notice also the Israelites were being trained to obey the LORD by 'observance' too:-

The Passover at Sinai

The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying: 2 Let the Israelites keep the passover at its appointed time. 3 On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its statutes and all its regulations you shall keep it. 4 So Moses told the Israelites that they should keep the passover. 5 They kept the passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, in the wilderness of Sinai. Just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so the Israelites did. 

6 Now there were certain people who were unclean through touching a corpse, so that they could not keep the passover on that day. They came before Moses and Aaron on that day, 7 and said to him, “Although we are unclean through touching a corpse, why must we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering at its appointed time among the Israelites?” 8 Moses spoke to them, “Wait, so that I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”

9 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 10 Speak to the Israelites, saying: Anyone of you or your descendants who is unclean through touching a corpse, or is away on a journey, shall still keep the passover to the Lord. 11 In the second month on the fourteenth day, at twilight, they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12 They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break a bone of it; according to all the statute for the passover they shall keep it. 13 But anyone who is clean and is not on a journey, and yet refrains from keeping the passover, shall be cut off from the people for not presenting the Lord’s offering at its appointed time; such a one shall bear the consequences for the sin. 14 Any alien residing among you who wishes to keep the passover to the Lord shall do so according to the statute of the passover and according to its regulation; you shall have one statute for both the resident alien and the native.

The Cloud and the Fire

15 On the day the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant;and from evening until morning it was over the tabernacle, having the appearance of fire.16 It was always so: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night. 17 Whenever the cloud lifted from over the tent, then the Israelites would set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the Israelites would camp. 

18 At the command of the Lord the Israelites would set out, and at the command of the Lord they would camp. As long as the cloud rested over the tabernacle, they would remain in camp. 19 Even when the cloud continued over the tabernacle many days, the Israelites would keep the charge of the Lord, and would not set out. 

20 Sometimes the cloud would remain a few days over the tabernacle, and according to the command of the Lord they would remain in camp; then according to the command of the Lord they would set out. 

21 Sometimes the cloud would remain from evening until morning; and when the cloud lifted in the morning, they would set out, or if it continued for a day and a night, when the cloud lifted they would set out. 

22 Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, resting upon it, the Israelites would remain in camp and would not set out; but when it lifted they would set out. 

23 At the command of the Lord they would camp, and at the command of the Lord they would set out. They kept the charge of the Lord, at the command of the Lord by Moses.

The second month on the 14th day for much of the Western population is a day that has been made to remember. Today this scripture has been brought to my attention for a reason....



The reference to the cloud is interesting with 'Moses Gate Country Park' named in middle England. Also over Bolton thick grey cloud has hang over the land here for seemingly long periods in daytime, over the years. Then it was one day in 2013 immediately after prayer the thick cloud cleared to reveal a bright blue sky with no clouds other than clearly written as in thick white cloud GOD -

The clouds are revealing now...the clouds are clearing now.

As numbers are revealed on this date, looking up the relevant date to see what is written particularly connected with Jewish history and the Greeks - being Greek Orthodox by baptism.

This day is Megali Tetarti - Holy Wednesday

In the New Testament, just after Palm Sunday, the Sanhedrin gathered together and plotted to kill Jesus, even before the feast of Pesach. On the Wednesday before his death Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the Leper. As they sat at the supper table, a woman named Mary anointed Jesus' head and feet with costly oil of spikenard. The disciples were indignant, asking why the oil was not instead sold and the money given to the poor. But Judas Iscariot wanted to keep the money for himself. Then Judas went to the Sanhedrin and offered to deliver Jesus to them in exchange for money. From this moment on, Judas sought an opportunity to betray Jesus.

In reference to Judas Iscariot's intent to betray Jesus, formed on Holy Wednesday, the day is sometimes called "Spy Wednesday". (The word spy, as used in the term, means "ambush, ambuscade, snare".

The Sanhedrin (Hebrew: סַנְהֶדְרִין sanhedrîn, Greek: Συνέδριον,synedrion, "sitting together," hence "assembly" or "council") was an assembly of twenty-three to seventy-one men appointed in every city in the Land of Israel.'

So we learn from this it was the officials plotted to kill Jesus! If any officials have an inclination to do evil towards any people especially to kill any people - they are not a holy mindset, even today!

Being Tested and Testing The Spirit if From God

Today I was tested by someone and feel grateful to have had this experience because it really is a warning to people...not just because of being deceived by people, false prophets but to warn also of the danger that is to the people who belong to the Lord.

When sharing a couple of experiences, the man said You do not know you saw Jesus...and I replied 'indeed I do'. He said it could have been a demon spirit and I agreed. He had a point. Telling him about a vision seeing 'GOD' written in the clouds, after prayer - the sky was bright blue when moments before the sky was thick grey cloud...he eased off challenging me asking if I was taking any medication even 'ASPIRIN' - Of course I felt compelled to defend my experience and say when I pray I pray to God and ask to be guided in the right way. I am just learning. This is Not something i ever did before - not speaking openly about God before 2012. Anyway I offered a glass of water and we talked.

Sharing this experience because there are scriptures that relate and I want to warn people to be very careful now as I also have to be. There is a very real spiritual battle and innocent people being injured and killed are people connected to Jesus - helpers, nuns and priests too. This is the work of the evil one and Satan has many people willing to serve as instruments for short term gains.

Today I was warned of the very real spiritual battle that is taking place. There are people evoking demons as there are people praying for the people to be saved. While we walk around seemingly safe, there is an unseen realm protecting us too. If our protection is removed - who saves you, do you know? This is why we are told to pray to God Almighty the creator of the seen and unseen for there is no one who rules over and above HIM.



This is what is written in the holy scriptures:

'Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world'. 1 John 4:1-3

This scripture is also written:

'Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
“Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” Matthew 10: 39:42
