Why is Scotland Yard Named in England?

This question came up years ago. It is a question a child would ask!

Why is Scotland Yard named in England?

If we do not seek to understand we will never know

Scotland Yard is situated in London, in the southern central part of England. Scotland is in the northern part of the United Kingdom. The planners have been very precise in these details for a reason.

A couple of years ago I discovered 'Scotland' is also connected with Lancaster - where Lancaster Castle is situated. In Oban Scotland, Lancaster Hotel has been named perhaps inspired at the time.

Queen Elizabeth is Duke of Lancaster. It all fits together.

There is also the bank named Royal Bank of Scotland.

What is interesting Lancaster is named in America

In America a Yard is a garden or plot of land.

In America New England has been named too.

Just discovering The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA

National imples ALL of the nation, or pertaining to the nation.

Trust implies safe - Trust can be a holding of property or assets.

In America Zion National Park has also been named.

Thinking if seeing Scotland named some other location in England, Yorkshire just came to mind and Leeds. Looking on the search engine on the internet it is also written:

New Leeds is a planned village in the Buchan area ofAberdeenshireScotland, situated 5.1 kilometres (3.2 mi) east of Strichen at the foot of Mormond Hill.

War memorial at New Leeds Mormond Hill, Aberdeenshire Great Britain

Within the name Mormond is Mormon -  Joseph Smith in America had a visitation from Angel Moroni to locate the gold plates of Nephi and these were written to become the Book of Mormon....The location of the plates were found in the township of Manchester, Ontario, New York, Usa.

Onatario is name in Canada Elizabeth is Queen of Canada.

The American connection to England is named for a reason.

Scotland was named after Scotia an Egyptian Princess.

Scota is also connected with Portugal and a Royal House.

Scotland is often referred to as the Highlands - God's Lands.

Is Scotland Yard named identifying God's Land in London too?

There are people who are scared to seek the truth in case they discover something...and yet it is written, the truth shall set you free. It is written Know Thyself - and then you will know your soul and your soul knows God. But this teaching is not shared openly to be understood in context. Much is lost.

Ask questions and seek the truth - keep asking and seeking.

Why is Scotland Yard named in England?

Ask and you shall be given, seek and  you shall find, knock and the door will open unto you. Matthew 7:7

The way I look at this world belongs to God and we are given this to take care of on Trust. He has ensured certain people are chosen to take care of the people.....this is what Jesus has shown me in a dream and als the people he chooses are instructed to be obedient...

If we want to know why Scotland is named - GOD KNOWS!

New Scotland Yard has been named now.....

Notice the shiny silver lettering and grey background of the sign.

Notice Metropolitan Police is written on Royal blue background.

Recently a lady called on me for help - spiritual guidance. She wanted to know how she could better have a personal relationship with God and I asked, have you got a Holy Bible? This lady was raised as a Muslim. She produced this same grey coloured bible with silver lettering given to her by a Jehovah's Witness. The lady got one for me at my request as a gift exchange for help and advice on her situation...

Jehovah's Witness is one who  has seen God.

Peace be with you
