The validating of history is also given through these people.

There are young children who have recollection of previous life who will describe where the live and the family - giving names and direction too. It is with research and validation of the truth that we can say 'this is the truth' although to be quick to dismiss the truth might be reasons people have forgotten.
The evolving soul is born to complete unfinished business, learn lessons and evolve accordingly. And they way for people to assist their evolution process has already been shown before.
The blocks to progress are here again and so, the revival of prayer and turning hearts and minds to God becomes necessary too. If someone is claiming to be someone who lived in a past life, there will be some evidence to support that - there will be physical evidence that person also lived.
Most interesting are the testimonies in the video above.
You can imagine in this time of deception how easy it would be for someone to be portrayed to be, as foretold 'Jesus Christ' when they are not. The false idol promoted is not holy or sincere.
The balance of finding the truth and preserving our soul - is not to look outside yourself and be distracted from the truth. In any learning establishment that enables critical thinking through theories, philosophy and practical application and skill, would not be limiting anyone to question the truth.
If someone claimed to be a medical doctor in this life, we would expect that person to have all the training and understanding for this profession. We would expect understanding of the body and healing too. But not all doctors focus on the root cause of illness and seek to eliminate the cause of this too.
The pill is not the answer to the illness. History reveals truth.
In any research for truth, if we seek to understand the truth we will become closer to realising the truth. In history a person who was born in a lowly lifetime might be raised up to a higher place. And the person born in a seemingly higher social standing might be brought low too. There will be reasons why.
Quoting the published Holy Scriptures it is written:
The Ten Commandments
…3"You shall have no other gods before Me. 4"You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5"You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,…Exodus 20:3-5

Where there is truth there is evidence and evidence provides validation.

The awakening of people are with many people awakening too
