An excellent honest documentary on Gypsy child thieves.
The problem is, this is the reality in Europe and can escalate. What is the root cause - and what motivation to break the cycle of crime, when it pays so well.
There are children being raised with no care or conscience - we do not know what contributes to their psychological process or what the children go through behind closed doors.
Young girls are sold to marriage at 12 and 13 years old, for a price. The price that is paid high, is not just prized virginity, but because the 'wife' will go and steal.
Learned behavior mixed with traditional ways, is a difficult situation to address and yet, if we consider a child raised without love and fighting, learns not to love and to fight.
Tough measures with a support network, with vision and compassion coupled with determination can assist change and is happening. Accommodation is being provided with conditions that give children schooling and adults responsibility to live an alternative way - without exploiting their children.
As the video identifies towards the end, it is one thing begging for survival - stealing has become big business and there are people building mansions 'back home'
The positive out of this video is watching a young girl say she does not want to be married - probably she has grown up to witness a life that does not show marriage to be happy. She wants to have her own career and build a beautiful life....alone.
Children are begging 10 or 12 hours a day, conforming to their mother. There are men sitting at home playing cards - who could be doing something productive and having a sense of satisfaction. Who is the leader in the family structure - adults are the teachers by example. This is a cycle of life that needs to be broken to prevent future generations doing the same.
Children who are without care or conscience might not know love, care and a different way of living. Once they feel love, care and worthy of something better, they might want more of this.
Maintain the positive out of tradition, without stealing.
Peace, love and best wishes
