The Sudden Death Peaches Geldof Age 25

Learning yesterday of the sudden death of 25 year old Peaches Geldof, my thoughts are with the family. The pain this family are going through now, will likely to be physically felt.

Remembering Paula Yates, mother of Peaches - reported to have lost her life by heroin overdose. The death of two young women in a family by whatever circumstance -is a double whammy might hit extra had with triggering the loss.  The loss of a mother cannot be replaced.

Peaches had everything to live for with an adoring husband Thomas Cohen and their two children.
'Astala Dylan Willow is 23 months, and Phaedra Bloom Forever is almost a year old. Peaches was a devoted mother who spoke of her complete love for her family'

Bob Geldof, father of Peaches raised Paula and sister Fifi after the death of Paula, her mother from reported drugs overdose. The blow to the family will be hard. No parent expects their child to die before them. The loss a grandchild who had everything to live for will be devastating.

Thomas Cohen, devoted husband and father is now a widower and single parent. Bob Geldof has already shown that father's can raise children - family can pull together.

Peaches had grown up knowing her young mother died of drugs overdose. The loss of the emotional security of a mother's love at an early age, by whatever circumstance is not easy. Grieving cannot be measured in time - Healing might take a lifetime. Feelings do not have a time scale.

Bob Geldof in ;a heartbreaking statement, her 62-year-old humanitarian father said: 'Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.

'Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?

'We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.

'Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.'

Peaches often spoke of how she struggled to come to terms with her own mother’s death from a heroin overdose in 2000.

Her husband Thomas Cohen said: 'My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever. Thomas, Astala and Phaedra Geldof-Cohen.'

'My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches': 31 year old Fifi Geldof's heartbreaking tribute was written on photosharing instagram, the Daily Mail reports.

'Happy family: Peaches Geldof said her world ended when her parents divorced. She's seen here holding her dad Sir Bob Geldof's hand at EuroDisney in April 1992'

Eventually Peaches Geldof was to meet Thomas Cohen - the man who was to help her healing by being a loving husband and father to their children - a family of her very own.

Just the day before she died, devoted wife and mother Peaches uploaded a flurry of seven personal family photographs on Twitter and Instagram within 19 minutes.

They started at 5.58pm on April 6th and ended at 6.17pm with a happy throwback shot of her and Paula, in which she simply captioned: 'Me and my mum'.

Four of the images showed her 11-month-old son Phaedra in a range of happy poses, while another focused on an Easter display populated with hand-made cards.

Another was of a new outfit which she had bought for her boy Astala, saying: 'Bought Astala a cool summer look! Liberty print caftan with matching shorts in a different colour and little navy blue sandals.

'Got it all from Zara home who are now stocking Liberty own brand in store. So cute! Astala aka Brian Jones...'

One picture shows Phaedra looking through old images of Peaches as a child. 'Phaedy's fave thing is to look at old photos of mama, seriously! So cute x,' she wrote.

She said she owed her life to her children and said: ‘I am not about to let them down, not for anyone or anything.’

She said that becoming a mother had healed a ‘rudderless and troubled’ childhood, and that she wanted everyone to know parenthood was ‘the best thing you’ve ever done’.

Peaches Geldof was reported to have had a complicated birth with her first child. His life was being held in the trust of a medical team when the baby was whisked away.  The value of the precious gift of life is often realised at a near death experience or when someone dies.

Life has shown the sun can shine even  when there are cloudy days. We are also shown how even with this bright witty party loving girl, she has known times of darkness too.

It took Peaches Geldof having her own children to realise the role of being a loving parent. The Geldof and Cohen family have shown that a father has an equally important role in raising a child.

Countless people are hurting and feel lost because they do not have a mother's love, both children and adults. There are children raised with a father who becomes the rock for stability.

So sad news to read of Peaches death. It is through Peaches death, we are reminded that inside a person is their feelings. The love for a mum is never forgotten, even after they are gone.

Peaches Geldof sharing motherhood, raising a child.

A very bright young woman with very vocal reasoning about responsible parenting. The emphasis on the importance of bonding is presented without holding back speaking her  truth.

Irish Bob Geldof - a humanitarian was raised a Catholic and yet has been vocal of his lack of faith. His passion to bring to light people suffering in Africa and getting the world knowing the truth of what is really going on. He has shown everyone can make a difference.

People who are non beleivers and yet they are sill guided to make a positive difference in this world. Not everyone values the power of prayer...Not everyone prays to seek the truth - for comfort, strength, healing.....for guidance. Bob stepped up to make a postive difference on the World Stage.

Perhaps there has been too much indoctrination and not enough sharing of experiences to inspire faith - The most revolutionary people to inspire faith and humanity do not all beleive.

In life non beleivers and beleivers are brought together.

The name Cohen is a common Jewish surname indicating that patrilineal ancestors were priests in the Temple of Jerusalem. The name Cohen is also connected with health and healing.

Liberty brand has come to light connected with Zara Home. The name Zara given to Princess Anne's daughter chosen by Prince Charles - actually means 'Princess'. Not a coincidence.

Liberty means freedom - The spirit of Peaches is free now.

My heartfelt condolences to the family

Peace, love and best wishes
Pauline Maria
