Travelodge Removes Bible From Every Rooom

'Travelodge removes the Bible from every room: No one had complained... but chain 'doesn't want to discriminate'

  • The chain, which runs 500 hotels, has made the move for 'diversity reasons'
  • Said country is becoming increasingly multicultural and Bibles 'discriminate'
  • Church of England condemned action, branding it 'tragic and bizarre'
  • Bibles are 'important to provide inspiration to travellers', they said
  • The books donated by Gideon Society are now hidden behind reception'

It is understandable that Travelodge does not want to discriminate and yet does everyone know that there is a Bible that can be taken with them...

This decision could be seen as another way to prevent people from discovering the truth and seeking guidance while reading the Bible .especially those who travel alone and contemplate.

The Daily Mail writes ;Other hotel firms, including Britain’s largest budget hotel company, Premier Inn, and InterContinental Hotels, owners of the Holiday Inn chain, say Bibles are being retained at their hotels. A Premier Inn spokesman said: ‘Bibles are available in Premier Inn rooms.

‘On the rare occasion that a customer does not wish to have a Bible in their room, they can request this to be removed ahead of their stay by contacting the hotel directly.’

Upmarket hotel chain Millennium & Copthorne, which runs four-star hotels in areas including Mayfair, Kensington and Knightsbridge, confirmed it still has Bibles in rooms and has no plans to remove them despite ‘welcoming guests from around the world’.

Travelodge is the first national hotel chain to remove Bibles – although in 2012 one independent hotel, the Damson Dene Hotel in Crosthwaite, Cumbria, replaced them with the erotic bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey.

A Travelodge spokesman said: ‘The reason is because of diversity. With the country being increasingly multicultural, we didn’t feel it was appropriate to just have the Bible because there are people of other religions. People were also taking Bibles away and with the redesign of the rooms, it was felt that it would be better to remove them.’

Another spokesman added: ‘In order not to discriminate against any religion, customers who would like a Bible can pick a copy from any one of Travelodge’s 500 hotel reception desks across the country, whilst staying at the hotel. To date, Travelodge has not received any customer feedback regarding this decision.’

In a culture of ignorance, who want to be representatives of a Christian faith with ignorance, who also lack the dynamic perception to realise there are many people who have been put off reading the Bible. And yet if alone in a room it is there...they might be tempted to pick up the bound books and discover the truth that is there.

The rise fo people returning to Christ is with those who are going against Christ and those who are misleading the sheep to maintain their blindness - many already have been led to slaughter.

Ignorance does not enable enlightenemnt. Then again enlightenment enables people to know and be obliged to follow a higher Law and be guided accordingly...The church once has rejected apostolic succession and people are too scaredto even ask someone about their truth.

Last year I learned of someone who decided not to be a Christan any more. They followed Buddism and then something else...Lost sheep....Jesus Prays and he meditates. His mind is clearl

With the rise of the promotion of wizard wands and the increase of sordid promisuity and orgies too...the generation of faithful people who hold onto values of nobility are also fast diminishing.

What drives these decisions to remove Bibles. To remove crosses from people's necks. .Is the reality  ta boycott plan that detrimentally impacts those who support Christianity and the Truth that is existing within thei power structure in this land?....There is influence from somewhere.

The decision might just be made out of ignorance.

Wearing my cross and talking to Muslims who seem to be more serious and on the same page in matters of faith and being a beleiver, not one has been offended by this.

The people in England have been robbed....they have been robbedof a spiritualbirthright and the system in place has been blatantly God mocking for far too long.

It is said in the last days the holy spirit will pour down on people....it is for this reason...Those who have an agenda and influence to the detriment of people in this power structure, evoke a reaction from the heavens...They will remain in spiritual darkness because they chose gains instead of the Lord.

Not everyone knows who stays in hotels that the Bible is there...and perhaps with the removal of these a reaction will begin where people will start asking and reading again....

Quiet time alone is the ideal time to study the Bible.

The Book of Revelation writes of the end times.

Peace be with you
