Quoting a most important inclusion that is relevant to all marriages and bringing to the reminder to all, 'whom God brings together let no one tear asunder'. This includes divorce lawyers - many profit breaking up families.

"I require and charge you both as yea will answer at the dreadful day of judgement when the secrets of all hearts shall be disclosed; that if either of you know of any impediment why yea may not be joined lawfully together in matrimony, yea do now confess it. For be well assured that so many as are coupled together otherwise that God's word doth allow are not joined together by God, neither is their matrimony lawful."

This statement was followed by the wedding vows.

Andrea Bochelli sings 'Ave Maria'

The reading addressing the entire congregation:

"As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and patience. Bear with one another and if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Above all cloth yourselves with love which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts to which indeed you are called in the one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God."

Evidence of Andrew tending to his daughter and her wedding dress, showed a gentle caring side of this man with much love for Eugenie.

The wedding could not be complete without Sarah being present, mother of the bride. Sitting next to her former husband, not complete strangers. The family still share a home and both parents are said to be best friends.

Well we know from this marriage, Andrew has embraced his Son-in-Law. After the wedding, at the reception, I read, Andrew broke his rather reserved demeanor to give Jack a hug - a loving family welcome.

May true love flourish and those called to hold offices preserving the people in Christ, continue to ensure the people are preserved In Christ.

Some time ago, I wrote of a dream seeing a church building with steps - As I recall: each side lining the steps men wearing uniforms. One side men wearing dark officer's uniforms while the other side white officer's uniforms with hats. With Prince Andrew having served in the Royal Navy, in the summer, shipping officers wear white; perhaps he is in some way connected.

The building is St. George's Chapel, at Windsor Castle.

What appeared to be the Queen's guards lined the steps as Eugenie and Jack descended as man and wife to the arriving Scottish State coach.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brooksbank.

Peace be with you
Pauline Maria
