The Angel of the North sculpture is designed by Antony Gormley. It is located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. Standing on a hill on the southern edge of Low Fell the angel can be seen for miles and a recognised land mark. Work on the angel statue began in 1994 and finished February 1998 at a cost £1 million. The National Lottery provided most of the funding for this project.
The angel sculpture is made of steel standing 20 meters (66 ft tall). The wings measure 54 metres (177 ft) across and are angled 3.5ยบ forward, Anthony Gormley used to create "a sense of embrace".
Contraversy in British newspapers, including a "Gateshead stop the statue" campaign took place. Martin Callanan, a local councillor strongly opposed this installation. The Angel of the North is a landmark for the Northeast of England. One organisation has listed the Angel as an "Icon of England".

In England we can now see evidence of angel awareness arousing again. Not everyone realises they have a guardian angel who is our comforter, even when we sleep. The ancient Egyptians were aware of immortal souls who were born to uplift humanity. The divine nature in a human being is the Holy Spirit within and this is our connection between God in heaven and for a spiritual purpose.
"A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." Revelation 12:1
From a spiritual perspective, given the physical respresentation of the Angel of the North here on Earth, I would like to present the following. 'A woman clothed with the sun' representing Christ who has clothed her. 'The moon under her feet' is seen with the Virgin Mary icons and yet she is not commonly known for her Divine Purpose as an individual other than being the Mother of Jesus Christ. The Crown is also meaning her Crown Chakra was open to communicate directly with the heavenly realms and God Almighty Himself. The 12 stars can represent the 12 planets in the astrological cycle and the 12 constellations.
Mary as an individual was consecrated to the Temple to Serve God and her Mother had offered her to be to Service of God when she was born. She was born in the Royal bloodline of Kind David and she would have been recognised as a High Priestess too. She gave her life to do God's Will. Since her assension, Mary has been regarded as a Goddess Queen of Heaven and Earth.

With the Book of Genesis - We are reminded of Gene Isis. In ancient times the understanding of Queen's giving birth to Kings was known. The ancient Egyptian Spiritual religion came from the woman in the essense of her being. A man cannot pass on a woman's MtDNA and so this understanding has been passed down from generation to generation from Mother to Daughter. For this reason, there will be many women today who feel a spiritual connection with each other as 'spiritual sisters'.
The Genes of Isis can only be inherited from female to female.
The Quest for Immortality is active today. The ancient Egyptians believed in the reincarnation of the soul. For this reason a body is embalmed and often buried with their wealth and belongings in order so the soul would be reborn into the same status. There are some cultures who cremate the physical body and this brings mixed understanding. Our physical body is the vehicle that carries our soul. When our physical body has come to the end of its life, we no longer need this any more. When we are born, we are formed in a new body that is created from just two cells, one from an man and the egg from a woman. Our soul is the Mystery because this is already decided by God - everything to the finest detail, even the family we are born into and our experiences.
The Virgin Mary was with pure heart born into her lineage and recognised as Chosen by God for her Divine Purpose. It is likely her birth was also written in the heavens with an astrological allignment as her Son was. This is why the Kings travelled from afar to meet the New Born King in Bethlehem. Scriptures indicate the lineage today. The Reason why Mary is not openly recognised as a Queen today is written in History and ignorance.
There is a rising interest in the Goddess again and this is not an accident. People are being prepared for a Divinely Inspired Queen. The return of Christ is also expected at anytime, except He will be coming from the heavenly realms. We are living in very interesting times. There is an opportunity to look at history with spiritual understanding and to realise that history will keep repeating itself unless we learn the lesson. Women were never meant to be oppressed and silenced. And the more the truth is silenced, the more the truth comes to light. Ave Maria touches our heart and soul and will continue to do so eternally.
