The Earthquakes - Why Are They Happening?

Back in 2012, I asked God audibly, why are these earthquakes happening....a reply did not come. If anything it was more like a realisation.....

The earthquakes that are happening as a result of the wrath of God - we are meant to know about and are take notice of. We are meant to recognise why these are happening most of all.

There mare people  in our world who exercise a right to rule over lands and, people, and to be honest they have no right to rule at all. God does not need people to do his work and kill people..

God will wake people up and bring people to him.

The earth is reacting to something....

Could it be that the earth is reacting to those who are ruling over this on earth? It certainly could be and the earthquakes could be one of those ways that God is trying to get our attention.

This is what is written in the Holy Scriptures:

There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. Luke 21:11

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.   Mark 13:8

Psalm 60 it is written and says it all :

1 You have rejected us, God, and burst upon us;
    you have been angry—now restore us!
You have shaken the land and torn it open;
    mend its fractures, for it is quaking.
You have shown your people desperate times;
    you have given us wine that makes us stagger.
But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner
    to be unfurled against the bow.[e]

Save us and help us with your right hand,
    that those you love may be delivered.

God has spoken from his sanctuary:
    “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem
    and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim is my helmet,
    Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my washbasin,
    on Edom I toss my sandal;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me to the fortified city?
    Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us
    and no longer go out with our armies?
11 Give us aid against the enemy,
    for human help is worthless.
12 With God we will gain the victory,
    and he will trample down our enemies.

The reason why God no longer goes out with armies, is likely to be because those who command and rule over armies have forgotten the law and authority of God. If they are not listening and not obediant, they might make up their own rules....Evidently God is not impressed with their plans.

Another Scripture provides more for understanding:

'Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

God Disciplines His Children

In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
    and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
    and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”[a]
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,”so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Warning and Encouragement

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.  See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.  Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done. Hebrews 12:1-17 (Read more in the link below)

Highlighting in bold scripture, allows us to focus on specific elements of the whole message. What is shown in the last paragraph, as history has shown repeatedly, those who have gone against God have also relinquished something that is given as a gift, birthright and promise by God.

What God gives to one person, he gives to all.

What God gives in riches to some people and poverty and struggle to others - the lessons he gives to all is to show how one day the rich  can lose everything and the poor people become rich. See not this lesson just in monetary and materlialistic terms - for wealth in God is hearing his word.

Being obediant to God is following his instruction...

And being obediant is to hear his guidance, in this time.

Those who reject the truth, cannot make the lie a truth.

Those who refuse the Rule of God in context, will be removed.

This is a time God is calling out to his people....he gave the world Jesus so that we could have a human and divine being to focus on and know that He is real, even if today people in our world are rejecting God. They are the distractors under the influence of those who reject God.

Be strong in the LORD as He is with YOU!

There is NO Power, man, woman, child, beast, corporation or machine that is more powerful than The Almighty. Even those big ships, the fighter jets, the missiles and other weapons have no power over God but we have not been ready to see and recognise His intercession and intervention!

Peace be with you
