Space Oddity David Bowie Dies at 69 (1946 -2016)

Reading the news today: David Bowie is no longer alive, came with seeing another article - a mistake was made in the news announcing David Cameron's death...this was quickly corrected.

Cancer, the most cruel killer yet as with learning of this private man with a private family life - this continued even in his illness. His family have asked to respect their privacy in grieving for their loss.

David Bowie was just 69 years old - departing this world after a full life, success finding soul- love a new lease of life came with a baby and prioritising after a heart attack.

His message was not of conformity ...if anything he was opening peoples minds with his message. Songs that come to mind from long ago 'Ground control to Major Tom' in the lyrics from Space Oddity and 'We can be Heros just  for one day.- this memorable version I am sharing, Live Aid in 1985



 - while preserving his private life, private David continued in his art, his work being more than music and song writing to deliver his final message only a couple of days ago. With seeing the name Lazarus, have to admit, I thought of the biblical figure Lazarus who was raised up again by Jesus...

After six heart attacks, David will have had the warnings that life is not forever and perhaps, this gave him all the more reason, to make life meaningful  and memorable for loved ones who remain.

In a career that spans several decades, this is not without giving something and popularity is not without reason = ever aware of the precious gift of life, the London born boy will have seen life for the youngsters' his message prepares people with new and renewed awareness beyond this world.

The Telegraph write his last album was a carefully planned parting gift to his fans.

'In a statement on his Facebook page, he said: "He always did what he wanted to do. And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way.

"His death was no different from his life - a work of Art.

"He made Blackstar for us, his parting gift.

"I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn't, however, prepared for it.

"He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us.'

A man if intrigue and intelligence, someone who knows what happens in our world and what is going on behind the scenes too, might also reflect his political statement..quoted above.

Knowing nothing of this man other than his earlier songs..and learning of his later work, everything has a reason - there would be many secrets that would remain hidden because they were meant to be.

Notice the video of the book with the black star - held in the light meaning that David is exposing this openly...This is no longer hidden any more....still people are sleeping...

We cannot judge  someone we do not know...With any of the 'artists' we do not know their truth unless they reveal their truth. Iit is likely that the truth about David's heart is known by his loved ones.

Another era has passed, David had a purpose...Do you know?
