State Opening of Parliament 2013

The State Opening of Parliament took place on Wednesday 8 May 2013. State Opening marks the formal start of the new 2013-14 parliamentary session. This state occasion sets out the Government's legislative agenda in the Queen's Speech.

The complete report from what is involved leading up to the state opening; viewing of events as they unfold is documented here in this shared program. Some important points are discussed by the panel.

In this parliamentary session, while the Queen delivers the formalities that are given for her address, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are sitting present on 'mini thrones', chairs of state.

In the seat of Charles surrounding the three feathers, this design detail is seen on the circlet of the crown of the Head of State. The commentator points out the finer planning detail of thrones and lower seats where Queen Elizabeth and Phillip sit, also with Charles and Camilla are slightly higher than the other.

The Imperial State Crown travels separately in Queen Alexandra's State Coach. Alexandra of Denmark (Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia (1844 – 1925) was the wife and queen-empress consort of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, Emperor of India. Alexandra was Princess of Wales before she became Queen Alexandre and so we see how in these carefully planned rituals the groundwork is paved out.

The Imperial State Crown is said to be representing of the supreme symbol of the monarch's authority and sovereignty. Upon arrival, the crown is carried inside by the controller of the Lord Chamberlain's office. Lord Peel was a member of the Prince's Council, part of the Duchy of Cornwall, from 1993 to 2006.

The Queen and Prince Charles, Duke of Cornwall have power to veto laws. Mention of 'justice' in previous parliamentary address has fallen on deaf ears of officials and their obligations.

Bear in mind even official commentators for the ceremony are on the payroll. This particular Welsh commentator is providing the detail that allows the viewer to understand more of what is happening.

Prince Charles and his wife travelled to Westminster in the Bridal Coach. Upon their arrival they are met by the Earl Marshall, Duke of Norfolk, organiser of coronations and other great ceremonies. He escorted the couple up the Norman staircase - the Sovereign's staircase, up to the robing room, where they will prepare. The second carriage leaving Buckingham Palace with the Queen and Prince Phillip is the Irish State Coach.

The choice of carriages and the occasion are signs to show everyone that both Charles and Camilla are to be sitting on the thrones 'whether people like it or not'. When people do not recognise God as the Almighty Authority and Jesus Christ as the Sovereign and 'Living Lord', this explains why laws are changed and concern has always been of a system that refuses to address and put right the wrongs already brought to their attention.

It would give people far more confidence in the system if officials were sincere in their faith and not hesitant to show this. The Queen being crowned as Supreme Head of the Church, implies that her government officials are serving in God's government. If officials sound out the voices of people trying to bring the warnings and alert them to concerns, they are not listening to God either.

Many people are tired with the struggle. As for the energy companies, who are the owners and shareholders of these companies would be interesting to see. They know who is who and what people are paying. The Queens made reference to the water industry - a booming business - especially with an increase of chemicals that poisons us!

In the Parliamentary speech the Queen says 'My Government' for they put forward the law changes. The Queen is only seen to be above the law because she is supposed to be a crowned servant of God for the people. If people are being prepared for future generations, with injustice being rife here, this will endure here.

If the Queen is sincere, she will always do right by the people.

Peace, love and best wishes
