Some of the headlines published in the Daily Mail ...

Even the Queen's threatened by the floods: Balmoral Castle is surrounded by 'rapids' as Storm Frank sweeps across Britain... with revellers facing sub-zero temperatures and heavy rain for New Year's Eve celebrations

  • Queen's Balmoral Castle was last night surrounded by rising flood water
  • A resident who lives nearby described the water around it as like 'rapids'

Not immune: Balmoral Castle was surrounded by 'rapids' last night as even the Queen was unable to escape the worst floods to hit Britain in seven decades. The monarch is among those anxiously monitoring river levels

The message is clear, not even the Queen and her castle are safe now..

Aound the UK people are gathering to celebrate the New Year....

In another article the Daily Mail headline indicates the severity of the flooding that is taking place, identified to be by rainfall, and this is all the people have to rely on other than people who know the truth. It is not known if the rainfall would justify this...or something else..but more flooding is reported to come..

Homeowners told to pack up and leave home IMMEDIATELY as Storm Frank lashes western half of Britain with 80mph gales and the North and Scotland are deluged by a month's rain in one day

  • Storm Frank is battering the UK with heavy rain and gales up to 80mph after sweeping in off the Atlantic overnight

  • Flood-hit communities in York and Cumbria are among those bracing for misery with up to a month's rain forecast

  • Thousands of homes in Northern Ireland and Scotland have experienced power cuts and flights are being delayed

Numerous photographs are published on the links.

In Tadcaster Yorkshire the bridge over the River Wharfe has collapsed, with rupturing gas pipes around 130 people have been evacuated.  Other photographs include damage to the ground with sink holes and road foundations ....

Planes are photographed showing the struggle to take off and land from Edinburgh and Manchester airports, due to what has been named this time as Storm Frank.

In another report, the boss of the Environment Agency is back from his holidays in the Caribbean with a statement that has been published on the page.

It is a terrible thing to be flooded. It’s almost impossible to imagine if you haven’t actually been flooded and our hearts go out to all of them, not least because it was over the Christmas period Sir Philip Dilley

Daily Mail writes of former business advisor to David Cameron:

'The Environment Agency has been accused of misleading the public by claiming their London-based chairman was 'at home with his family' over Christmas when in fact he was in Barbados.

The quango repeatedly refused to say where Sir Philip Dilley (right, yesterday) was after he was last seen in public on December 14 - and was accused of 'cheap' tactics in a cover-up that has 'undermined its own credibility'.

On Monday, an official statement indicated that Sir Philip was ‘at home with his family’, apparently in the UK, and claimed he was ‘available to participate in any necessary discussions.’

The agency put out another statement on Tuesday which said Sir Philip 'has been at home with his family over Christmas' - but again omitted that he had been in the Caribbean.

A spokesman only confirmed that it was Barbados after it was revealed by the press'

With thousands of people evacuated from York due to floods...there is a photograph that is published of a flock of sheep who are gathered together - a powerful picture with the reminder of a scripture about sheep and goats are being sorted out now.

Quite literally stranded: A flock of sheep were surrounded by floodwater in Cawood, North Yorkshire, after the River Wharfe burst its banks

Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’ Isaiah 46:10

Isaiah 43 is a scripture that an elderly friend of mine was told to read by Jesus when she had a dream back in the estimated time of early 1960's.

But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created you, Jacob,
    he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.

With armed police being out in the thousands in London, just remember these officers serve the Queen but which Queen do they serve? Charles is in a job share with his mother -as Prince Regent, and if William was Kaiser - emperor, as one report states, that would explain the headline of his wife.

With William and Kate having the London residence at Kensington Palace, it is here the King and Queen State apartments have been named..Their popularity endures with wealth and given titles.

In the ancient times people were instructed what to do.

The Lord's Prayer
9“This, then, is how you should pray:
“ ‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us today our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13And lead us not into temptation,a
but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13

In these perilous times, 'the Lord is my Shepherd' comes to mind.

A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. ... Psalm 23:1-6

Peace be with you
Pauline Maria
