Halloween, a time when children come knocking with their little buckets saying 'trick or treat', while this is also a time when adults have their parties too.
The Daily Mail has covered a number of stories and yet, the reason why I am focused just on this story today, is because Heidi Klum has gone all out this year, promoting age with grace.
If there is ever a wow factor in makeup this is it.
As it happens, the film industry has some amazing creative individuals who can totally transform a person and this is an example to show that gift. It is OK to have lines. The most interesting faces are those that tell a story - a face that shows feeling and meaning, with living years.
Wisdom with experience, comes with years. When people are focused on superficial appearances, they might not be cultivating what is inside internally. We cannot change who we are inside.
Last year, Heidi sensationally dressed as Cleopatra.
This year the Queen of Halloween arrived in a silver grey colored vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom II limousine. The lady had her walking stick, in one photograph pointing upwards. Creative expression is inspired expression and perhaps this was inspired, from the heavens.
Heidi who is German really does look convincing in her transformation and if she is to age like this, the lady has a pleasing old age face. Remember the eyes are the windows to the soul.
Heidi told Parade.com 'I'd rather stay home than go out in an uninspired costume,'
'I start thinking of ideas months before Halloween, and I have an amazing team who makes the impossible possible. I don't really have a system for picking my costume each year, they kind of just come to me. It's definitely not a last-minute decision. It takes months of preparation.'
The statuesque beauty expects the same dedication from her A-list patrons saying, 'I want people to strive to have a better costume than me. I want my guests to really wow me!'
It is so easy to strive to be the best and then as many people who are successful have discovered, once you reach your goal or climb the highest mountain - what next? Leaders inspire other people - they pave the way and encourage people to go further....
The Queen of Halloween Heidi is setting an important message...how you look at the message she is delivering by her choice of transformation is according to our own view....
Just reading the comments on the article shows that Heidi has made people think and also triggered some uncomfortable feelings in people. To me, Heidi has not gone into such an effort just for fun, to humiliate anyone, or to make anyone feel bad about their image.
It is easy to chase superficial desires in life and set material goals, one day we will be old, and all that was important when we were younger will not be so important anymore.
A growing number of people are considering the legacy they will leave and leaving footprints to make a positive difference. Once we are old, we will not be able to turn the clock back.
Amazing transformation. Growing old gracefully.
The number plate of the Rolls-Royce, an English car identifies LA - if this is Los Angeles plate, this connects UK and LA, to New York. (New York is shown to be connected to France with the Statue of Liberty cementing the friendship between people - the rest is Providence.)
Los Angeles means City of Angels.
'All Phantom II rolling chassis were built at Rolls-Royce's factory in Derby. The factory in Springfield, Massachusetts was closed upon ending production of the US-market Phantom I in 1931. Two US-market series, AJS and AMS, were built at Derby'
The Phantom II was featured in the films The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010 film) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. A 1934 Phantom II "Continental" was the basis for the car Cruella De Vil drives in the animated Walt Disney motion picture, "101 Dalmatians (1961 film)".
In a time with a rise of spell casters and the story of Snow White has been repeated recent years and filmed, perhaps it is because the story is important now, more than ever.
Halloween is also known as All Hallows' Eve, a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. This day is dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.
All Hallows Day, All Saints' Day is commemorated 1st November and the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity. All Saints day honours all the saints, known and unknown. All Saints' Day is the second day of Hallowmas, begining at sunrise on the 1st of November and finishes at sundown on the 1st of November. All Souls' Day is commemorated on 2nd November.
Peace, love and best wishes
