Queen of Talk Oprah raises $600,000 for Charity

Always loved Oprah Winfrey - I do not know her personally, however remembering seeing one of her shows many years ago and thinking 'This lady is doing really important work for the people'

The important work is to encourage healing and to empower people. Oprah has shared her own struggles and knows how to balance putting her heart on the line, while enabling other people.

The first person to greet me into this world was a midwife named Joy, a lady from South Africa. We stayed in contact all of her life until she died last year. There is something about South Africans, if you become friends, you become like family - perhaps because we are distantly related.

It is no coincidence that Oprah Winfrey has become a household name internationally. This is exactly as it is meant to be and to the people who encouraged her at the beginning, they had their calling too. The calling is beyond a talk show - Oprah's life has a far greater purpose for her people.

'This sprawling estate in Montecito, California is just one of several homes owned by the star' - Pink palace comes to mind. What a lovely home and pretty surroundings.

Oprah is known for being one of the most generous people, often surprising her audience and charity giving. Then there is the building of a vision, creating opportunity for other people.

On Saturday, the 59-year-old star hosted a giant yard sale raising $600,000 for charity. The auction event was held at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club in California.

The charity fundraiser was held both online and the live auction

The Queen of Talk sold a wide range of goods, from luxurious furniture to signed enlarged framed prints and random homeware items from her personal belongings..

The Mail Online reports 'One lucky and wealthy bidder bought a set of six 18th-century Louis XVI armchairs with hand-embroidered details for the pricey sum of $60,000.'

Bidding for many items escalated interest because they belonged to Oprah, a megastar with millions of fans. Oprah is another lady who has made her name and wealth by sharing her voice.

There are many talk shows and each person has their own way.

The people who take this work really seriously and know they are influencing the masses, they have great power to assist change. There is no one better to enable people who have known and overcome difficulties, to get on the side of people who are going through difficulties. There is no competition - to help people in any way, is to serve the people too.

The sale was to raise funds for the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation College fund. 'The proceeds from the yard sale will go to Oprah's school in South Africa, which is dedicated to helping graduates attend colleges and universities around the world.'

If you had a choice between a leader who cares about the people, to help inspire people to leaders too, or one who cares about gaining and maintaining titles, which would you choose?

Can you recognise people born from a Royal bloodline?

People who if they had a choice to live their life again, might make the choice to say I wish I helped even more people...and Oprah has. She is an inspirational leading lady for women.

Years ago I was asked who I thought should be president of America and of course not knowing who is who, yet being honest I said Oprah Winfrey. People were horrified that I could even suggest this and when I explained, someone said 'You will never see a black person in The Whitehouse.'

Then a couple of years before President Obama was elected, I had a series of visions for what I thought was a movie script - the story was about the next President and the man I was looking at in his office - he was African American. Then President Obama was elected!

The legacy that Oprah is paving for other people to continue, comes with stepping stones - she has walked and opened the way...and if we are unable to walk the talk, our words are pointless.

Oprah Winfrey, knows more about life than most of us will understand. She has in her personal growth, shared her learning with the world too. Oprah has built a vast corporate empire, HARPO - HARP plays a tune and she is being guided in her own individual way for her own purpose.

On that strength I thought Oprah would be an excellent choice for a President and encourage other people to be successful too and yet not everyone can see leadership, that I can see.

King David is associated with the Harp, known as the Harp of David. Now history is not my strong point, however we do know that King Solomon, King David's son had a child with Queen of Sheba who came from Ethiopia. And generations of children later....is Oprah related?

Lesotho is a Kingdom within South Africa. Prince Harry is in partnership with the Prince of Lesotho and their charity together is to raise money to help children with Aids. No idea what percentage of the monies raised go to the cause, or exactly how donated funds are being spent.

Looking at the map closely George is named as landmass, King George Park, George South (The Holy Bible identifies Queen of the South) and George Industrial estate. Reports of Prince Charles intent to take the name George when he is King is no accident. The baby being named George, with names of Pharaohs, Shahs and Emperors has been very carefully chosen too.

Looking at the map, even Wilderness is named next to George. In Ancient Egypt 'Moses' was sent to free people from slavery and he led people to the wilderness to start a new life. Today perverting of the Holy Laws of God continue - but this time God has his plan for all mankind.

There was a time, not so long ago, when people who were darker skinned, I was told from South Africa, had to use a different door, different public facilities and services, even walk on the other side of the road. The leaders in USA have been changing all that, including Oprah Winfrey.

Times are changing to appreciate cultural differences. When we see individuals beyond what they do, own, the colour of their skin and what they wear, only then can we start to know their truth. In this new era, I hope NEVER EVER will people be oppressed and enslaved again - it depends.

The people who are not guided by God ignore His Holy Laws.

When 9/11 happened with the destruction of the twin towers, also what went up in smoke were tens of thousands of birth records of people in America. Notice how many people now are looking into their genealogy to discover where they came from and who they really are. This is a natural movement, like when people tried to silence the truth about Christ, His name became known worldwide.

Looking at the name Dr. Maya Angelou - Angelou is a Greek name. Opera Winfrey has a relation named Constantine - a name of Emperors. For all the people who were captured and oppressed in slavery - everyone had a name even if they did not have a surname. In Greek and Jewish tradition people passed family names on and this has been a way to maintain 'oral' genealogy. However this is not always the case. We just need to go back and remember why Moses led people out of Egypt.

It would be quite something to discover Oprah is actually descended from Emperors and even if we are related - when in some way we are all related as family. With Queen Elizabeth holding the Star of Africa diamond in her scepter and her name on Africa - time will tell what will be.

The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation College Fund, what an excellent name. Speaking to two young men from Africa in Queen's Park on the day of her 60th Jubilee Anniversary Service, they came to England to study because the same opportunity was not there in Africa. Eventually the blocks to progress have to fall away to enable 7 Billion empowered people. Imagine this.

Peace, love and best wishes
