Fathers of the Orthodox Council on Crete confirmed that the Church is One and cannot be divided. Orthodox Church is also aware of the existence of others who bear historical name of Christian churches and denominations and calls them for dialog, to accept the pure faith of 7 Ecumenical Council and to return to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, shortly named as Orthodox.
The Most Holy Orthodox Church of Greece (Athens) has insisted that Council expresses dogma of undivided one Church and that Council does not admit the existence of other "Churches" outside the Orthodox Church, but to admit only their historical name "church". Fathers of the Crete's Council have agreed on Athens's insisting.
