Orthodox Patriarch of Moscow consecrates new Cathedral of Annunciation

Yesterday a visitor told me of 'council' meetings taking place in relation to the Orthodox Church that I was not aware of...because I am not watching television at this time for a couple of years.

In the process of trying to find credible information based on facts to learn from and share, I discovered this video. It is a new Cathedral that has been consecrated in Moscow, Russia.

The new Cathedral of Annunciation is described as written in the video description as being 'newly built Cathedral of Good News in city Yoshkar-Ola.

His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Cyril I consecrated the Cathedral.

The video was uploaed on 14th June 2016

Annunciation for understanding is explained as

The announcement of the Incarnation by the angel Gabriel to Mary (Luke 1:26–38).

a Church festival commemorating the Annunciation, held on 25 March (Lady Day).

the announcement of something. -
"the annunciation of a set of rules applying to the relationships between states"

We know this is significant and on the date identified

The Prophet Elisha is commemorated on 14th June, along with Saint Methodias of Constantinople, Saint Mstislav (George) the Prince of Novgorod - read more on the people commemorated this day.

A new Cathedral built and consecrated accordingly, is relevant to the present times and a reminder of God's ever presence watching over us and with Christ granting us his Divine Light.

Another link I found that connects The Diocese of Sourozh Patriarchate of Moscow with the Russian Orthodox Church in Great Britain and Ireland...

Whatever is written, in the knowledge that God rules over all things and all people, Christ is venerated honored and abided by with the power and authority that is given to him - not taken or assumed by his own plans - but the Divine Plan God laid down to protect and preserve mankind.

Abide: accept or act in accordance with (a rule, decision, or recommendation).

To the people who take their faith seriously, wherever located and with preserving the people in truth; protecting us all by preventing evil from having a hold on ruling over us is necessary. There are many people who claim to be Christian yet are clueless of the evil that is lurking, taking place or the mortal and spiritual danger people are placed, when being kept in darkness and conformity.

While we do not know what is happening behind closed doors, we are given the opportunity to know and even to be a party to discussions because this is a right to know. There was a time so not to have cameras inside a house of prayer and worship - today we are given the privilege to see.

There is a scripture that comes to mind...I must find it:

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise master builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds. For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10:11

And another few that are found to share here:

The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’” Haggai 2:9

And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ Acts : 5:42

 Ephesians 2:20
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.
Paul and the False Apostles
4For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it way too easily. 5I consider myself in no way inferior to those “super-apostles.” 6Although I am not a polished speaker, I am certainly not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every way possible.…2 Corinthians 11:4-6
Galatians 2:6
But as for the highly esteemed, whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism. For those leaders added nothing to my message.
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:17

The preservation of truth and Jesus is alive will endure

Peace be with you
Pauline Maria
